Mercedes On Top Yet Again

The Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton pair at Mercedes once again locked out the front two positions in a frantic, changing-conditions qualifying session for the Monaco Grand Prix. [Qualifying results.] That raises a more interesting question, posed by the new blog It’s An F1 Life.

Starting to become a bit boring, isn’t it? The one lap pace of the Mercedes cars has been proven once again, as Nico Rosberg takes his third pole in a row, and the team’s fourth pole in a row. None of the previous triumphs in qualifying produced anything remotely close to a win, so the pressure is on the Mercedes duo to finally deliver.
