Korean GP Under Pressure

Autosport reports that this season’s Korean Grand Prix is in danger of cancellation due to circuit construction delays at the new Korean International Circuit, let alone political turmoil. Racer carries the same story.

South Korea

The circuit, located in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, is scheduled to host the Grand Prix on October 24. Yet Korea Auto Valley Operation CEO Yung Cho Chung told Autsport on Monday that the construction was in fact ahead of schedule and that there were no concerns about it not being ready for the race.

So the prospects for the race are plainly unclear. You know my views: F1 should end its Asian addiction.
