Red Bull 1-2 in China Qualifying

Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber qualified 1st and 2nd on the grid for tomorrow’s Chinese GP at Shanghai. Despite rumors that the Red Bull cars would be at a competitive disadvantage after an FIA “clarification” ruling outlawing automatic ride-height adjustment — which the team denied using in any event — the chassis design appears formidable.

“We’re proving that we have a very good car, no matter what the circuit. I’m very pleased with today. Thanks to the mechanics, as they had zero lunch due to all the changes that were required between free practice and qualifying.”

So it’s on to the race, in the wee hours of the morning US time, tomorrow.
